Statement of Significance The Poplars form a significant visual feature of the entry into Orange. The planting pattern of a series of arcs and lineal forms creates a visual dynamism when viewed from a moving vehicle. The visual effect of the poplars changes on a seasonal basis due to the deciduous nature of the trees. The Poplars are at present fairly immature and as they mature the visual significance will rise.
